🥩 Dry Aged French Trimmed Beef Rib – The Artisan Butcher

Our Dry Aged Beef Rib is the ultimate centrepiece for your festive roast — a true classic, hand-prepared by our skilled Warwick butchers.

Each rib is dry aged for depth of flavour, French trimmed for elegance, and perfectly suited for Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or any special Sunday roast.

We only use the finest British beef, matured in-store to achieve that rich, buttery tenderness that defines The Artisan Butcher quality.

🔥 Cooking Instructions

  • From Fresh:
    Remove from the fridge 1 hour before cooking.
    Preheat oven to 220°C (Fan 200°C / Gas 7).
    Roast for 20 minutes to seal, then reduce to 180°C (Fan 160°C / Gas 4) and continue to cook for approximately:
    • 15 minutes per 500g for medium-rare
    • 20 minutes per 500g for medium
    Rest covered for 20–30 minutes before carving for tender, juicy slices.
  • From Frozen:
    Defrost thoroughly in the fridge for 24 hours before cooking as above.

🍽️ Serving Suggestion

Serve with crisp roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, and seasonal root vegetables, finished with homemade gravy or horseradish cream.

Pair with a glass of bold red wine for a traditional British Christmas roast worthy of any celebration.
