A great British classic and a firm family favourite. Whether you boil it gently or honey roast it in the oven, our Unsmoked Gammon Joint delivers rich, traditional flavour and a beautifully tender texture every time.

Perfect for cosy winter suppers, Sunday roasts or cold cuts the next day, this versatile joint makes a delicious centrepiece for any table.

Cooking Instructions

To Boil:
Place the gammon joint in a large pan and cover with cold water.
Bring to the boil, then drain and refill with fresh water.
Simmer gently for 45 minutes per kg + 20 minutes.

To Roast:
Preheat oven to 180°C / 160°C fan / Gas 4.
Place the joint in a roasting tray with a little water, cover with foil, and cook for 30 minutes per 500g.
For a glazed finish, remove the foil for the final 20 minutes, brush with honey or mustard, and allow the fat to caramelise.

Serving Suggestions
Serve hot with buttery mashed potatoes, roasted root vegetables and a spoonful of English mustard.
Or slice cold for hearty sandwiches, ploughman’s platters or festive buffets.
