With our Free-From Nursery Range, The Artisan Butcher is pioneering the removal of allergens and sulphites in processed meat products to the education, nursery and food service sectors.

In response to concerns raised by parents, as well as by catering managers and chefs, we have developed a range of nitrate-free and allergen-free products that we have specifically sized for younger mouths. Our Nursery range is available to be shipped by courier nationwide.

It includes a range of competitively priced small 25g sausages in both pork and chicken varieties. The pork sausages are less than 10% fat and the chicken sausages are less than 5% fat. 

It also includes a range of 50g burgers, 50g koftas and 25g meatballs. 

You can buy them all by the kilo and we have given the quantity of each product to help you get the right amount in your order.

We also have a full range of fully trimmed, finely minced and small diced meats also by the kilo for your convenience.

All the products in our Nursery Range are free from the 14 allergens that have to be declared by law, which are: celery, cereals containing gluten (such as wheat, barley and oats), crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs and lobsters), eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs (such as mussels and oysters), mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites,and tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts).

This range of products do not have any allergens added when the products are made in-store by our team of butchers, but of course we must continue to advise that food sold on our premises may have come into contact with peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, milk, eggs, wheat, shellfish or fish and the other declared allergens.
